What you enter
The directory uses debt categories and broad situation labels. The checklist uses checkmarks. We do not ask for names, contact details, income, balances, account numbers, credit reports or precise locations. The tool makes no application and performs no credit check.
How selections are handled
Selections are processed in your browser. This implementation does not submit them to a server, add them to URLs or save them in local or session storage. Use Clear checkmarks to reset the checklist. Browsers may restore page or form state, so refreshing or closing the page is not a guaranteed erasure of every trace.
Downloaded files
The optional checklist download is a text file created on your device. It includes which items you marked, but no financial details. Store, share or delete that file using your own device’s controls. The blank version contains the questions only.
Hosting and external links
This site is hosted through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. Hosting and security providers may process ordinary request information, such as IP addresses, browser details, page paths and timestamps, to deliver and protect the site. They may use security cookies or scripts. Fonts and application files are served from this site. We have not added analytics or advertising trackers.
Visiting an external source or related website sends an ordinary page request to that destination, which has its own privacy practices. Directory selections and checklist checkmarks are not included in page requests or external links.
Use of this information
This is general U.S. consumer education, not individual financial, tax or legal advice, a provider assessment, a guarantee of results or a creditor agreement. Do not use a category note to disregard a court deadline or stop payments to qualify for a program. Actual contracts, facts and current law matter.
